I am thankful for the energy that keeps me working. Many people lack energy due to chemotherapy, blood sugar levels, improper iron levels, etc.

I am thankful that my banker makes it possible for me own the house I live. So many live without adequate shelter.

Thank You Lord for the intercession that Jesus does for us. He understands so well, knows our needs, and pleads with such earnestness. Jesus gave His all on the cross and today He is still giving His all for me.

I marvel at the simplicity of children. They are enthralled with little things. They are delighted when they get attention. I wish I were a child because being an adult is so much harder.

Thank You Father that after 11 years of marriage I still find my wife beautiful. And it seems that as the years roll I still discover new beauty within her.

What a day that will be when war shall cease! Heaven will be without conflict! I am longing for the day when war inside me and inside my mind shall have ceased; O happy day!

Thank You Lord for the freshwater lakes You created. Peace and beauty can be found while rocking gently in a boat, listening to the birds and viewing the majesty of the trees.

It is said there are two types of people: those who want to get something and those who want to give something. I want to fill my heart with Jesus until it bubbles over and I am the one giving.

Lord, today I am thankful for neighbors who need me. We are an intertwined mesh, needing each other, it feels good to help my neighbor and to be helped by him.

Fruit trees are pruned so they do not become overladen and so that the each fruit is larger. Thank You Lord for pruning me so that I can glorify You and be of use to You.

I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy. Thanks be to God that my service for others brings me joy!

Today I am thankful for the color green. It is such a pretty color on trees and plants; all different shades of green. It is easy to take for granted the color green until plants die from lack of moisture or from frost.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. Thank You Lord for when I have sought You and found You within, bringing me peace.
