Thank You Lord that I can begin again each day. The failures are in the past and today is a new happy beginning to a story.

Thank You Lord for the wisdom and instruction our elders share. They have so much history and experience.

Thank You Lord for the people in my life who are eccentric. They make me laugh and enrich my experience of life.

Thank You Lord that we can enjoy music and create it. Music speaks and gives insight into one’s soul.

Thank You Lord for the talents You created in me. So often I envy the talents of others and down myself but You knew what You wanted when You created me.

Thank you teachers for doing a great job! Both on me and for my children! Your efforts are underrated.

I am thankful today for courage. Courage for today; and each day I find courage even when it is hard to believe the sun will shine again.

One big thing I am thankful for is the ability to laugh. At times I have felt so sad that I doubt I will ever laugh again but, amazingly, it always comes back.

Today I confessed to my Lord that I was jealous of the shepherds on the hills of Judea. I had such a longing to hear the angels sing.

 

Thank you Lord that in our home we are not just family but also sweet companions and friends.

 

Don’t live your fears, you deserve better. Live your dreams.

Thank You Lord for a warm, cozy home on cold Fall days.

It’s important to make someone happy and it’s best if you start with yourself. Clean out the unhappiness, find something to smile about, and then share that smile with others.

Thank You Lord for the quiet times in the morning when we meet together. Sometimes it feels like we just sit quietly together and I lean into You. It is enough to give me courage for the day.

Thank You Lord for the beautiful colours of Fall. Many times the beauty You create has been copied in photographs and paintings but the original is unsurpassed.
