Thank You Lord for the harvest thus far. Whether it be from the garden or from field, small or bountiful, You have provided it all.

Thank You Father for the quiet time I could spend alone with You today. And by alone I mean not only away from other people but more that my thoughts could focus on You and leave these other things behind.

I am thankful for a hot shower and running water. Ah! So relaxing to shower after a hot day of work!

Thank You Lord that my children are interested in the Bible stories. They love the stories of Jesus and His compassion.

Today I intend to contemplate the things in life that are free, and the things I have received for free. I am thankful for everything that is free.

Have you ever shared a secret smile with a stranger? It can lift one’s spirits and warm the soul.

 

The future lies before you; uncharted and awaiting you. Make the choice today to make tomorrow better than yesterday, and be thankful for the opportunity of tomorrow.

Today I am thankful that my wife is such a wonderful cook. Although it does show a bit too much on me.

Lord, today I thank You that my wife, my children, and I nearly always can find time to have meals together.

Thank the Lord today for strong morals and that so many in this world still have them!

I am thankful for the feeling of accomplishment that one gets when you finish a project that you do not like and have procrastinated.

Pets can add so much to one’s life. Some people like cats and some like dogs, others like fish or hamsters. Remember to give your pet a hug today; unless it’s a fish.

Are you thankful for commitments or promises? Either the ones you have made or what others have made to you? I am thankful today that commitments can be made and that trust can be built by keeping these promises.

Thank You Lord for the times You have come to meet me as I travel life’s road. You have appeared in many different ways and have touched and colored my life many times and I thank You for each time.

Please remember today that you were created in God’s image. This alone should inspire you to feel loved by God.
