Thank you lord for sending your son in such a lowly way. He came not as a king demanding service but as a servant with a heart for the unfortunate.

Thank you lord for the story of the wise men who sought the promised child. Also thank you father that wise men still seek Christ today.

Grandparents remember and wish for the days of young children; this is why they often spoil their grandchildren. They remember when children came crying for a kiss when they got hurt. They remember the confidence little children put in their parents. They remember infants coming to snuggle on their laps. Parents remember the blessings you have and cherish them! You have a way into your child’s heart that no one can match.

Today I am thankful for responsible baby sitters. A night out can be so refreshing if you trust your sitter.

I am thankful today for everything that is simple.

Today I have a simple message; try a little enthusiasm, it will brighten your day.

Thank You Father for the quiet evening with my family yesterday.

I have a longing today to praise God. I read the story of Peter healing the man at the gate called “Beautiful” and how he leaped and praised the Lord. May my heart bubble over with praise!

Remember today that each snowflake is beautiful and unique. Also celebrate today that, just like a snowflake, you are one of a kind and that is what makes you you.

Thank You Lord for allowing me to make mistakes. When I recognize my faults it helps me to lean on You.

Thank You Father for reminding me to be kind. Often I get involved in myself but You come so gently again and remind me “Others”.

As a testimony to the wonders of science small pox has all but been eradicated. Appreciate the advances in science today and be thankful that you do not have to worry about a disease that could kill you or at least disfigure you.

Thank You Lord for the promise of a “Haven of Rest”.

Thank You Father for the many times I hear singing in the kitchen. It makes a man enthused to come home to a singing, happy wife who has prepared food with love.

Today I am thankful for my wife’s soft lips and warm kisses. I am so blessed because I enjoy my wife even after 11 years of marriage.
