Thank You Lord for allowing me to make mistakes. When I recognize my faults it helps me to lean on You.

Thank You Father for reminding me to be kind. Often I get involved in myself but You come so gently again and remind me “Others”.

As a testimony to the wonders of science small pox has all but been eradicated. Appreciate the advances in science today and be thankful that you do not have to worry about a disease that could kill you or at least disfigure you.

Thank You Lord for the promise of a “Haven of Rest”.

Thank You Father for the many times I hear singing in the kitchen. It makes a man enthused to come home to a singing, happy wife who has prepared food with love.

Today I am thankful for my wife’s soft lips and warm kisses. I am so blessed because I enjoy my wife even after 11 years of marriage.

Often told about in First Nation’s folklore is a white buffalo. We have a unique albino buffalo at the zoo in Winnipeg. Celebrate nature and enjoy the creation God has made!

Thank You Father that You always listen to our prayers even when the answer is not “Yes”.  Thank You for taking time to care.

Thank You Lord that my children are such good helpers and usually willing. Children are a lot of work but this is one of the minor benefits.

Today I long to be the hand of the Lord reaching out to those who are down, oppressed, sad, depressed, whatever. I can not be the Lord (and don’t want to) but I long to be used by Him to help those who are around me, if nothing else then with a simple smile.

Today I am thankful for thankfulness. So many gloomy days can become sunny when there is thankfulness in the heart.

If you live to far south you miss out on a unique feature of nature; aurora borealis or Northern Lights. It is one of those features of nature that bring meaning to life.

Just a few days ago I was having terrible, depressing thoughts; self-pitying thoughts. I cried to the Lord to deliver me. It wasn’t but 5 minutes later when the Lord sent an angel to deliver me; my 5-year-old boy came into the shop where I was working, he wanted to see what I was doing and wanted to talk and be with me. Just another miracle from our Lord.

Thank You Lord that You are not a respecter of persons but that You offer love freely to each one.

Nature is hugely intriguing. Have you heard or seen phytoplankton? I love nature and it makes life enjoyable!
