Lord, today I am thankful for neighbors who need me. We are an intertwined mesh, needing each other, it feels good to help my neighbor and to be helped by him.

Fruit trees are pruned so they do not become overladen and so that the each fruit is larger. Thank You Lord for pruning me so that I can glorify You and be of use to You.

I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy. Thanks be to God that my service for others brings me joy!

Here is a wonderful quote for you today to help build your moral, “Sometimes I laugh so hard the tears run down my legs”!

Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy. Keep your chin up and live carefree!

Today I am thankful for the color green. It is such a pretty color on trees and plants; all different shades of green. It is easy to take for granted the color green until plants die from lack of moisture or from frost.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without. Thank You Lord for when I have sought You and found You within, bringing me peace.

God doesn’t see me with his eyes He just sees me with His heart. He looks beyond what I have been to what I can be. Thank You God for the hope You hold out to me and the forgiveness You offer for yesterday.

Be careful what you have in your cup because when jostled it will spill out. The other day I amazed myself when my world was rattled by change of plans instead of frustration bubbling out, laughter came forth. Today I intend to fill my cup to overflowing with laughter.

Thank You Lord for Your love. I have experienced many forms and depths of love but all are less than the care and love You give.

I have a mother who loves me; in good times and bad, no matter what I say or think I can depend on her friendship. I am truly blest richly.

 

Thank You God that no matter where and when but if my thoughts reach out to You, You are there to listen and care.

I am thankful today for the ministry of working hands filled with love. My wife is very good at this one; she cooks, cleans, does laundry, takes care of children, etc. May my hands be used today for others and joy be in my heart.

Thank You Lord for the privilege of returning the love You give to me. Help it to bubble out of my cup to You and then to others.

I may have been born with nothing but I have gained tremendous wealth in the love that Jesus gives.
