I am thankful for bees, the pollinators of the world. My world is so beautiful because of bees.

I am thankful for the signs along the road that point us where to go and keep us safe.

A smile does not cost anything but is priceless, let’s use ours today.

Thank You Lord for keeping us safe in the busy season of harvest.

Do you fear losing your peace with God? Do you struggle to find an assurance of salvation? Remember today that God is in control of your salvation, not you. He will provide in the hour of temptation and fear, just simply trust Him.

I don’t need to leave a legacy. On Judgement Day instead of the crowds pointing to me and saying I know him; I want Jesus to testify “This man knows and loves Me”.

Thank You Jesus that the disciples found your tomb empty. This means You are alive and reigning. And it means Your power is greater then death. And it means when I am tempted and fail I need only bring my sin to the cross and confess and You will pay the price.

At lunch the other day my boy told his siblings how a man had honked at daddy cause he was not driving nice. My one daughter said with conviction, “Our Daddy is the best Daddy in the whole world!” The others chimed in how much they loved their Daddy. I had been having a blue morning but suddenly I felt unworthy of such fervent, simple statements of how my children loved me.

Thank You Lord for the harvest thus far. Whether it be from the garden or from field, small or bountiful, You have provided it all.

Thank You Father for the quiet time I could spend alone with You today. And by alone I mean not only away from other people but more that my thoughts could focus on You and leave these other things behind.

I am thankful for a hot shower and running water. Ah! So relaxing to shower after a hot day of work!

Thank You Lord that my children are interested in the Bible stories. They love the stories of Jesus and His compassion.

Today I intend to contemplate the things in life that are free, and the things I have received for free. I am thankful for everything that is free.

Have you ever shared a secret smile with a stranger? It can lift one’s spirits and warm the soul.

 

The future lies before you; uncharted and awaiting you. Make the choice today to make tomorrow better than yesterday, and be thankful for the opportunity of tomorrow.
