I had a lot of fun lately watch our 2-year-old girl go from being scared of the water to going down short slides into it. A father surely has many rewards.

Recently our six-year-old son came and apologized for being grumpy and mean, mostly to his sister. I am amazed what children catch on to and I was amazed how free he felt after that.

If you are keenly aware of the dirt in your life then that is when God is most present and it is His sign to you that He cares about you.

People highly value things that are handmade or homemade. Just remember that God’s creation of you was personal, handmade and He does not make junk.

The circle of life begins with us being children to our parents, then continues when we become parents to our children. Next we become parents to our parents, and then finally we are children to our children. It is quite the journey.

It is easier to build resilient children then to repair broken adults. I will continue today to build with my children.

While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.

It doesn’t matter how big your house is, it only matters that there is love in it.
