I can not, and will not try, to please everyone. Sometimes a father has to make tough decisions and not everyone gets their way. But I will try to fill each ones’ cup of self-worth.

I want to live my life now and be in the present. When my mind strays to the regrets of the past or the fears of the future I will take hands with the now and make it the best day.
Today I want to take part in the things I believe in. Let me begin naming the things I believe in: love, family, joy, kindness, peace and mercy.
Life never gets better or worse; the best day is today so I will make the most of it.
Remember to accept today that I can only be me, and also that I am the only one like me.
Promise this with me for today (and every day): “I will focus on the positive in life”.
I have to accept today that I am not perfect nor will I try to be perfect but I will try my best.
Thank You, Father, for being wise; knowing everything. Help me to trust even when I don’t understand.
Thank You, Lord, for being perfect.
Thank You, Lord, for being just and discerning between good and evil.
Thank You, Father, for being personal. You would have sent Your Son to save me had I been the only one in sin.
Thank You, Jesus, that You are not spiteful or accusatory.
Thank You, Father, that Your ways are simple and “a fool shall not ere therein”.
Thank You, Lord, for being a God of truth.
I am thankful that God gave me hands to fix things for my wife and children. May my hands be used for Christ this week.
