Have you enjoyed the smells of summer today? Drink deep of the flowers, mowed grass, rain and much more.
So many times when I have a heavy heart and spirit I find joy in the enthusiasm of my 3-year-old girl. So many times she wants to be with me as I work or drive around looking at crops.
Thank You, Father, that I can learn and find peace beyond these earthly setbacks and enjoy Your riches and my friends and family.
I am so thankful that we have work on our farm that young children can do; they learn so many values through work.
Have you observed the majesty of God this week? Did a friend break through the bondage of sin? Was a family member saved harm in an accident? Did you notice the sunset He made? And how long did you ponder His glory and let it envelope you before you were tempted with negativity?
I am so glad our oldest daughter is so responsible and capable. She is a tremendous help in our house.
