I am so thankful for the many times I have received notes of love or complementation. And, just as important, it feels good to make someone’s day with a compliment.

Thank You Lord for a home that has a humming, cheerful mother working in it.

I am thankful for the giggles of toddlers. May each parent cherish this gift in the reality of raising children.

Let me tell you the story of my day: it started with love and it ended with love; sometimes I gave it away and sometimes I received it, The End.

I am thankful for our clean house.

I am thankful for the times I have been willing and enthused to help someone. Helping others makes the world go around.

Thank You Father for Your mercy in the past, for Your mercy today, and for Your mercy tomorrow.

Thank You Lord for the times I can laugh at life and with my family, so often it disperses the anxiety and tension of raising children. The alternative is a permanent headache.

Do you agree that it is easy to forgive the humble and lowly? Do you desire to be humble and meek? Most of us are resistant to such thoughts but wouldn’t you say the reward justifies the sacrifice?

Jesus, I don’t need to be capable of many things but please help me to be capable of loving.

Thank You Father for the awesomeness of the night sky and for setting it all in motion so that I can enjoy it.

Joy is available for everyone today and is in abundant supply. Some days it is a choice and sometimes it’s an emotion.

I am so thankful that Jesus is a good Shephard that draws us with His love and gently chides us when we do wrong.

Thank You Father that, like a candle in the night, the light You offer outshines the darkness of mankind’s selfishness and this world’s depravity.

Thank You Lord for granting me a wife that listens to my problems, understands, and cares deeply.
