Christmas is a busy time of travel, please be safe out there and may all be of good cheer.

Christmas is a busy time of travel, please be safe out there and may all be of good cheer.

May your year be filled with many positive events and may you rise above disappointments.

Every day may not be great but every day has something good.

Will you be like Herod and seek to kill Jesus because he threatens your way of life? Or will you be like the shepherds and fall down and worship Him?

Please, Lord, help that my children may learn politeness and unselfishness this season rather then a “I want” attitude.

Remember that each act of kindness you perform makes the manger for Jesus that much softer and the cross easier to bear.

Thank you, Lord, for creating a time of year for family to come together and enjoy each other.

I want to be one of the wise men seeking the Child of God, and seeking things of eternal value.

Today would be the second day that Mary spent gazing at her new child, wondering what He would become. We do not have to imagine, the wonderful story has been told.

What a lowly and humble way our Saviour came but He has won my heart and has become my Lord and King!

At one point Jesus told the people around him that if the disciples should not praise Him that the stones would immediately break into singing. There was a time when the angels were allowed to praise Jesus and they appeared to shepherds many years ago. How their chests must have swelled with joy as they gave their utmost in singing.

Just as Joseph and Mary took a journey before the birth of Christ; may each take time to ponder the reason for Christmas in the midst of busyness.

I can not, and will not try, to please everyone. Sometimes a father has to make tough decisions and not everyone gets their way. But I will try to fill each ones’ cup of self-worth.

I want to live my life now and be in the present. When my mind strays to the regrets of the past or the fears of the future I will take hands with the now and make it the best day.

Today I want to take part in the things I believe in. Let me begin naming the things I believe in: love, family, joy, kindness, peace and mercy.
