On her latest birthday my 3-year-old girl rewarded me with the highest honor and choose to come to the barn with me because that is what she wanted on her birthday.

Learn to laugh at life but not at your family, Laugh, rather then saying something cynical during a mishap.

Worry is assuming responsibility for something you were not meant to be responsible for.

Help me to love peace more then having the right answer, but to be willing to quietly say my opinion at least once.

I tried going on a date with my 3-year-old daughter and she won my heart!

I am thankful that our children can go to school. It keeps them learning in a constructive way.

Legalism says I must change before approaching the father but a humble attitude says I will go just as I am.

Thank you, Lord, for a 3 year old that loves to ride with me. At times being needed and wanted can be overwhelming but so often it is required for the soul to be fulfilled.

Our Christmas season has been mild which has been a boon for the children to play outside instead of being cooped up and fighting.

Christmas is a busy time of travel, please be safe out there and may all be of good cheer.

May your year be filled with many positive events and may you rise above disappointments.

Every day may not be great but every day has something good.

Will you be like Herod and seek to kill Jesus because he threatens your way of life? Or will you be like the shepherds and fall down and worship Him?

Please, Lord, help that my children may learn politeness and unselfishness this season rather then a “I want” attitude.

Remember that each act of kindness you perform makes the manger for Jesus that much softer and the cross easier to bear.
